Open to all, amateurs and curious beginners welcome. Weather permitting, meetings may include observing. SoVerA is a non-profit research and educational organization in southern Vermont. Its primary goals are participating in professional/amateur astronomical research, teaching beginners about the basics of astronomy and providing a venue for advanced beginner and intermediate level amateur astronomers to learn about the technology and equipment available to them. SoVerA works with and through all members to broaden general knowledge of the workings of the universe. |
